Solfinity – one of the largest B2B Shopware implementations in Poland

For Solfinity – a leader in providing systems and components for photovoltaic installations – we transformed their existing B2B platform into a system that facilitates expansion into foreign markets. Using Shopware, we created a multifunctional B2B multi-store in record time. The solution supports multiple languages and provides intuitive tools for personalising offers and managing price lists, trade limits, and user accounts.

Challenge

The main challenge in the project was to adjust the current B2B platform for expansion into foreign markets – creating a multifunctional multi-store to aggregate new platform functionalities for different language versions. At the same time, the nature of the B2B offering required us to build an architecture that would enable extensive personalisation in the future, e.g. by adding new filters, product categories or promotions. 

Our responsibilities

As part of the project, we recommended the Shopware store engine to the client. Importantly, we managed to build the MPV in a record time of only three months.

We created a multifunctional B2B store by implementing various solutions such as:

  • the ability to create sub-accounts within a given organisation,
  • order processing only for logged-in customers,
  • visibility of prices and other documents only for logged-in users,
  • the need for customer approval when logging in by store employees,
  • trade credit and trade limits per sub-account,
  • price groups depending on the size of customer orders,
  • a tool for creating a fully personalised offer for the target customer,
  • integration with data stream, allowing to connect with systems like ERP or payment modules,
  • the ability to connect a salesperson to a designated customer to meet their needs.
